We were looking for a eggless wedding cake that could be one of the centerpieces of the reception and she knocked it out of the park without having to compromise on our expectations. “I reached out to Jessie about doing our wedding cake just a few months before our wedding to see if she knew (or could learn) how to make an Ube flavored cake. And she did! From the beginning, I enjoyed getting to know Jessie and talking about our love for the outdoors. I booked her as our vendor without even trying her cakes because I just knew that it was going to be amazing. And it was absolutely more than I had ever dreamt it would be. We had a simple black buttercream 2 tier wedding cake with the bottom tier being vanilla with blackberry filling (my husband and i’s favorite fruit!) and an ube with blackberry filling top tier. Both of the cakes were out of this world! All of my guests said that it’s the best cake they’ve ever had and I couldn’t agree more. “Jessie is amazing!!! My family and I are self proclaimed cake experts and picking Jessie for my wedding day was a no brainer once we had our tasting with her! Her flavors are so well incorporated into the cake, and her buttercream is to DIE for!! I seriously think I dreamed of it after the tasting!! We did 3 different flavors for our 3 layers, we did Smores, Cinnamon Roll, and Funfetti. Her pricing is fair, especially when you realize how much work she puts into the cakes!! At the wedding I saw multiple guest have all 3 flavors on their plates and they loved them all! She also did the Groom’s cake and it was a cookie cake. She brought my idea to life perfectly, and it was the perfect addition for desserts for the reception.
